The Media and Gamer Girl has been modified slightly (from the original mentioned below) around the hand area, getting rid of some white space, and adding easy to see thumbs. The belt near the thumb is also slightly changed, as is the material near the other hand’s fingers.
When looking at the original figure, the viewer’s eyes seemed to want thumbs to exist in certain locations, so in the above picture they were added.
In hindsight, a gamer girl, and a media girl probably have very similar skill sets (especially if the gamer girl produces things like vlogs, live streams, photo sharing, and possibly a blog). A media girl could also cross into the gamer scene if they wanted to. Thus it seemed natural to include a heading Media and Gamer Girl as a name for the picture which is meant to also represent a missing emoji for the important work this type of person does.
Let’s hope that this image of a Media and Gamer Girl is the first step to a emoji being made available for us all to use.
As for professional people in companies 👩🏿💻, not sure they will use emoji, as they can afford to use full-on images, or videos in any of the projects they get involved in.
The information for the original unmodified figure is referenced below.
