This song was via fan (@4025kappa) who provided a link directly to a video that featured the actual singer; however the author decided not to use this video, as YouTube might give it a hard time; as it might not meet the standards set by international laws. This cover was chosen because it is still very entertaining, and also makes mention of the original artist. The author met @4025kappa during the third anniversary of the Japan earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster for Japan—a minute of silence for that day was held.

19,000 died during that disaster: https://twitter.com/AnfieldAkiba/status/443261556202033152

The disaster in 2011 (march 11) still haunts and even causes problems for people today: http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2014/03/10/national/photos-tohoku-three-years-after-the-311-earthquake-and-tsunami/#.Ux6ouL57hJq.twitter, https://twitter.com/hina_r18/status/443267588647165952

“The huge quake & Tsunami hit Japan at 14:43 three years ago. We can’t forget it. Let us offer a moment of silent prayer for the victims. 🙏” ~ @4025kappa (11 March 2011)

Since I don’t want to just leave sad memories here, I thought I would also mention some fun and romantic stuff: a special day for the girls of Japan 🙂

Another interesting thing that @4025kappa shared with me, was yet another excuse to eat sweet pastry, sweets, and receive presents. It’s a day for the girls that is called White (sugar color) Day.

White Day 2014 (March 14) “White Day is a time in Japan for the boys to return the favour of gifts received earlier from the girls on Valentine’s Day. Why is it called “White Day”? It is simple really, white is the colour of sugar, which is the main ingredient of candy traditionally given as a gift on White Day” (via blog).

“Popular traditional gifts on White Day include white chocolate, cookies, jewelry, white lingerie, and marshmallows. These days anything goes, so the gifts can be pretty much anything.”

“There is a word in Japanese “sanbai gaeshi” (三倍返し), which means triple the return. The rule is a returned gift should be 2 to 3 times the cost of the Valentine’s Day gift. Wow! The boys have it tough on White Day in Japan.”

☆ @4025kappa birthday is around 1 Dec.

☆ @4025kappa is also a big football (soccer) fan (http://blog.reysol.co.jp/news/2014/016376.html)

☆ @4025kappa makes some great emotes, that she adds to her tweets, some are listed here:

  • 😊 I think this one is just a extremely happy emote that includes the eyes smiling.
  • 🌟 used like this: “🌟 ! Have a happy day!! 😊”
  • 💕 These come out in red on twitter.
  • 🙂 (not sure if this is her usual symbol, I think it’s part of her learning about the English language possibly).
  • 😃 (This is probably her usual happy emote that is used instead of “:)” )
  • Found a wonderful “et ál” combo on Google that I used for the first time on twitter (was going to use et al.). Been wanting to introduce some songs and dances with this Latin word. I kind of got attached to it after a French bloke seemed to like using a lot—it felt like a compliment strangely enough. I used it to introduce this song: ♬ Akiko Aoki, & et ál — 涙そうそう// Tears For You (cover) [song/music] http://youtu.be/Bes4i3q-Nz8
  • 🌹 The flower top comes out in red (like a rose), I think this is a nice thing ☆ @4025kappa (Akiko) gives to friends that might like flowers a lot.
  • \(^o^)/: ohayo is the word for good morning, and this emote is someone just awakening possibly.
  • 🌺🌴 This is a nice symbol for Hawaii or Honolulu.
