☯ The history of the Galactic Mainframe Revolution
The earth was eventually the domains of the android and software intelligences. There was only one more way to go–outwards into outer space. History holds that only that software intelligences (the Mainframe Revolution) made it out (at the speed of light) to alien races around the galaxy, where they fought more mainframe battles, eventually taking over the entire galaxy.
Of course this history is not exactly true: androids also played a significant role in this expansion phase–and androids still play role in the work that the nano-machinery finds impossible to do today.
