EyePet (from IGN) gives you a virtual pet that appears to be living in your world and in your house. It contains challenges that lead to upgrades for the pet. The pet itself can be personalized.
Like any pet, you have to take good care of it by feeding and washing it. Tools like a virtual cup with pet food appears, so that you can tip this food into your pets bowl. You also get a tool that sprays water so you can wash your pet.
In places like Tokyo or very populated areas owning a pet is very difficult. Perhaps this game will give some feel as to what it is like to have the company of a pet–without all the mess, bad behavior and costs that would normally be involved.
The EyePet will react to any thing in your world from cats, robots and the wondering young one. It also dreams of the good experiences it has had with its owner(s).
